About the union section

We are a union section made up of colleagues who work here. No one in the section is paid by the company to do union work, and nothing we publish is reviewed by management before it goes out.

How we work

• We check before we publish. If we cannot confirm something, we say that it is unconfirmed.
• We never speak in your name without asking. What you tell the section stays with the section.
• We decide together. Positions are discussed in section meetings, which are open to members.

Joining

Joining is a personal decision and it stays confidential. Membership gives you a vote in the section’s decisions and support from the wider federation, but you do not need to be a member to ask us for help.
